Enter your solar generation meter and bidirectional (net) meter readings from your last two bills, and we'll estimate your grid bill with and without solar.
It records two separate values: units you imported (drew) from the grid, and units you exported (sent) to the grid from your solar system. Most PM Surya Ghar installations use one.
Total Self Consumption = Solar Generated − Export + Import. It represents your home's total energy usage for the period — the solar power used directly plus whatever was still drawn from the grid — which is why it's used as the "bill without solar" baseline.
Under most DISCOM net-metering policies, surplus export units are banked and adjusted against future bills or settled at an annual true-up — they aren't usually paid out as cash. This calculator flags that case rather than showing a negative bill.CONFIRM
Send us your last few bills and we'll size a system around your real consumption.
